Living Fit Mommy: Fitness “Tweet of the Day”

This is so true.

The one thing that I’ve seen, both with clients and with myself, is we all want things to happen NOW! We don’t like waiting for results, we want to see them within a week or two, but you have to remember that fitness is a marathon, not a sprint. Everything takes time; if you bully yourself into a time frame, and then fail to meet it, you can get discouraged and decide it’s not worth it.

However, if you realize your journey is one that never ends, will be fraught with setbacks, and is leading you to a better way of life—whether you actually see the results or not—then you will find peace with the process and stand less of a chance of giving up.
